In very good minus blue paper covered boards with cream coloured cloth spine, gilt titles to front and spine. The boards are a little wobbly to the front, even and quite clean. Two small marks to the front free end paper. The text block has a coloured frontispiece and three other colour plates and other black and white illustrations. The pages are tightly bound, clean and flat. Very good condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket.

This is a nice rare copy of a Bible Books for Small People book called The Shepherd and His Sheep, copyright 1935, possible first edition with no other date found, hard cover, dust jacket, written by Muriel Chalmers with illustrations by Elsie Anna Wood. The book and its dust jacket have a previous owners mark on first end page otherwise in good plus condition with tight binding, new archival mylar wrap on jacket and nice illustrations. Size: 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall.
