A charming postwar Scandinavian childrens title celebrating skiing, outdoor life, and Nordic adventure, enhanced by the distinctive artwork associated with the celebrated illustrator Chr. Kittelsen. An appealing collectible for admirers of Scandinavian illustrated books, Nordic culture, winter sports history, or vintage European childrens literature. The boards remain in very good condition with bright, clear illustration and strong visual appeal. The spine shows wear with a missing section of the original blue cloth covering, exposing the underlying board beneath. Despite this flaw, the binding remains intact and the book presents attractively overall.
