Add to basketA first edition, first printing of Goal's Galore by Nat Lofthouse, published by Stanley Paul in 1954. A very good book signed by the author and his team mates of the 1954 Bolton Wanderers team in blue ink, including Roy Hartle, John Higgins, Tommy Banks, Bryan Edwards, Johnny Wheeler and more. With some pushing to the corners of… the front board and rear panel, pushing to the head of the spine and slight staining to the foot, the text block with slight browning and small stain to the inside front paste down with small tear to the interior spine. In a very good unclipped wrapper with crease to the top edge of front panel, a small tear to the front fold knuckle and chips to the rear fold knuckle, with some chips to the head and foot of the spine with internal repairs and some internal browning and spotting. Rare signed. Goals Galore by Nat Lofthouse encapsulates the football legend's prolific scoring career with Bolton Wanderers and England. Lofthouse, renowned for his strength and clinical finishing, etched his name in football history with memorable goals, including his FA Cup final exploits in the 1950s. His relentless drive and scoring prowess made him an icon of his era, inspiring fans and future generations alike with his remarkable ability to find the back of the net.
