Smalll 8vo, pp viii, 163, [1, errata], half title, title epage in red and black, bound in contemporary calf, spine with raised bands and red label, a little rubbed but a very good sound copy, FIRST EDITION; the obscure Cambridge graduate Thomas Nevile had printed his 18th Epistle of Horace two years earlier, and presumably finding it met with approval, prodced this neat volume of very free translations presented facing the original Latin text. An edition of 500 originary paper copies like this one were printed by Bowyer, records suggest.
