Edition and printed not known. In very good minus paper-covered highly decorated boards with blue cloth spine. The boards have a tipped in central colour illustration of caterpillar, butterfly and chrysalis. The boards are flat and quite clean and firm. "The Clevedon Community Bookshop Co-operative Bindery Team" have added paper hinges to front and back; cleaned the covers and stabilised the edges and pressed to straighten the boards. The free end papers are slightly tanned and foxed. The text block is illustrated with black and white drawings and bright colour plates (including frontispiece) by R. J. Wealthy, C. F. Newall, etc, etc and in very good minus condition. The pages are secure and even; the Prelims and end page are slightly foxed and some pages are a little marked. No dedications etc. Without jacket.
