First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. SIGNED, with no personalization or inscription, on its title page by editor William F. Nolan. "First Printing", "Copyright © 1971", and LCCN 70-102658 on its copyright page, with publisher's original "$7.50" price on its jacket's front flap. This book is in very good condition, marred only by a bump on the bottom of its spine, a bump on its front cover's bottom corner, and a bump on the left edge of its back cover. It also has what appears to be a minor production error: what should be the topstain on the page block is, instead, on the bottom of the page block ? and the top of the page block appears to have been stained and then wiped off. Neither mistake extends onto the page faces, and the pages themselves are bound with correct order and orientation, so this is just a cosmetic flaw, not affecting the readability or shelf appearance of the book. [And, as an aside: it seems somehow appropriate that a book titled "The Human Equation" exhibits this quirky 'human error'.] The book's dust jacket is in near fine condition: bright, whole, and unmarked, with traces of wear on the ends of its spine and flap folds, and along its folds, but otherwise unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description. Signed by Author(s).
