Simple double-ruled board decoration blind-stamped at head and foot of top and bottom boards; series device in gilt at centre of top board; lettering in gilt to spine. Boards rubbed, most pronounced at edges. Small dent at head of top board. A couple spots of soiling to cloth. Internally, the textblock is clean, with only a minuscule spot of dampstaining occasionally at top corner. Monochrome portrait frontispiece, with tissue guard. Part of the Golden Treasury Series.
