Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book presents a collection of 23 powerful cartoons by the celebrated American editorial cartoonist J.N. Darling, originally published in various newspapers and magazines between 1914 and 1916. Through his poignant and thought-provoking artwork, Darling captures the complexities and horrors of World War I, offering a unique and powerful commentary on the devastating conflict. The cartoons provide insights into the political and social climate of the time and highlight the futility and suffering caused by the war. Darling's masterful use of satire and symbolism exposes the absurdity and tragedy of the conflict, making this collection a valuable historical document that unveils the harsh realities of war. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. …

Add to basketBrossura. Condition: come nuovo. Dust Jacket Condition: ottimo. prima edizione.
