Jesus hat den Kern des Christentums auf einen kurzen Nenner gebracht: Das größte und erste Gebot ist: Du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, lieben mit deinem ganzen Herzen und mit deiner ganzen Seele und mit deinem ganzen Denken." Dem gleich ist das Gebot: Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst" (Mt. 22, 37+38 ). Doch wie geht das über-haupt, Gott zu lieben? Hielten wir diese Gebote in Jesu Sinne, befolgten wir sie wirklich ohne Einschränkung, kämen wir dem wahren Christen-tum einen Schritt näher; wenigstens seines Beginns. Denn bis jetzt gibt es überhaupt noch kein wahres Christentum. Bei den Urchristen hatte es einmal gut begonnen zu sprießen. Sie lebten wahrhaftig so, wie Jesus es ihnen vorgelebt hatte.
