Condition: Very Good. 226p plus plates in the back, this copy rebound in plain burgundy cloth with gilt lettering to spine, tight and clean copy, Copenhagen compliments stamp, Names of Naffziger and Stern to cover. Naffziger (*1884) was a noted neurosurgeon, having worked with Cushing in Boston (Fulton 366), and later led the Department of Neuroscience at the San Francisco Medical School until 1952. Stern headed UCLA neurosurgery for over 30 years (until 1987). He was a Cushing Medalist of the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons and received many other professional honors in his field. Stern was Naffziger's son in law Language: English.
