Olivetti giudica temerario l'entusiasmo dei "pastoriani", dichiara che la cura Pasteur può essere "oltre che inutile, pericolosa per sé"; e raccomanda una tempestiva cauterizzazione delle morsicature. Rarissimo documento, rivela una comprensibile e rigirosa, ma pericolosa diffidenza nei confronti di una scoperta epocale.
