The binding is quite sound and tight, though plain, with only the library book number 22 in gilt on the spine. This book was probably originally issued in a flimsy binding, and rebound after being later donated to the library.

The binding , is quite sound and tight, but plain and simple, with only the library book number 15 on the spine. This book was probably originally issued in flimsy wraps, and bound after being later donated to the library, which might account for the soiling.
