Pittore e scultore, lavora da decenni sui temi del mito, della maschera, del simbolo in forme diverse. Uno degli aspetti più leggendari, ma meno documentati della sua attività è il lavoro che svolge a Bali dove risiede per alcuni mesi all'anno. Nel marzo 2014 lo scrittore Emanuele Trevi e la fotografa Giovanna Silva hanno vissuto qualche settimana con lui assistendo all'allestimento di un Ogoh Ogoh, un carro allegorico che si prepara per il giorno di Nyepi, il giorno del silenzio. Destino dell'Ogoh Ogoh è poi di essere bruciato. Attorno a questa breve parabola lo scrittore ha intessuto le sue riflessioni sul tema del mito, ha osservato con partecipazione a un momento in cui storia, leggenda e contemporaneità sono diventati poco distinguibili e ne ha tratto un racconto. Silva ha invece documentato, con tecniche fotografiche diverse, la traiettoria dell'Ogoh Ogoh partecipando a un rito che finora era pressoché sconosciuto. Book.
