It is a charming work offering an insight into Victorian interior design and housekeeping. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally very smart; colour and gilt remain bright, though there are some faint marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting, but remains reasonably firm. Slightly strained to pages 80 and 81; otherwise firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean except for some offsetting to the free end papers. Very Good. book.
