Im Dezember 1903 wird die bisherige 'Plüss-Staufer' von der 'Aktiengesellschaft der Vereinigten Oel-, Kitt- & Kreidewerke vormals Plüss-Staufer (Société anonyme des Fabriques d'Huile, Mastic et Blanc Minéral, ancien Pluss-Staufer' übernommen, Direktor der Gesellschaft ist: Gottfried Plüss-Staufer. Die Marke 'Omya' wurde 1905 auf die AG übertragen, und im April 1911 der bisherige Prokurist Paul Rüegger zum kaufmännischen Direktor ernannt. - 1884 "vermählte sich der Handwerker Gottfried Plüss mit der Bäckerstochter Emma Staufer und gründete [.] nicht nur eine Familie, sondern auch die Firma Plüss-Staufer. Seit 2000 heisst die Firma Omya AG, benannt nach den bedeutenden firmeneigenen Kreidegruben. Sie ist in den verschiedensten Bereichen der chem. Industrie weltweit tätig (HLS). -- *Das grosse Haushaltswarengeschäft von Anton Meyer, Sohn, auch 'Meyer zur Schmiede', eine Kolonial- u. Eisenwarenhandlung am Hauptplatz 6 in Küssnacht SZ, und offenbar mit Filiale in Weggis LU, war im Prinzip ein veritables Warenhaus mit umfassendem Sortiment, das von Nahrungs- u. Genussmitteln bis zu Einrichtungsgegenständen u. Werkzeugen reichte. A. Meyer, Mitglied bei der Einkaufsgenossenschaft Union (gegr. 1907, ab 1910 'Usego'), bezog die Waren für sein Angebot von Produzenten u. Lieferanten in der ganzen Schweiz, gelegentlich auch aus dem näheren europ. Ausland. - 1891 wird als Inhaber der 'Handlung in Kolonial-, Eisen- und Geschirrwaren ein 'Anton Meyer von und in Küssnacht' genannt, ab 1894 'Anton Meyer, Sohn', seit 1891 Prokurist der väterlichen Firma: i.e. Anton Meyer-Dahinden (1870-1926), Kaufmann zur 'Schmiede' u.
