Inscribed at the title page to Jean and Ted [Uppman] (the latter was a singer and performed the title role in a 1951 Covent Garden production of "Billy Budd") by an unknown party (perhaps the editor but I can't square the signature with his name). Good/Good: a generally clean and solid copy but mild soiling to the edges, so merely Good; a bright and whole jacket but a number of superficial scratches and so only Good.
