Vol I spine slightly cocked and rear hinge nearly split, though mull is intact and binding is still secure; Vol II lacking the front tissue guard. A solid VG set. Original publisher's blue-green cloth blocked in blind, with gilt lettering stamped to spines and yellow endpapers printed in black First book edition [Wolff 6696a; Sultan Stork p 246; NCBEL Vol 3, p 858].
