Features illustrations by William Thomas Smedley [1858-1920], Frederic B. Schell [1838-1905], Alfred Fredericks, Granville Perkins [1830-1895], John Douglas Woodward [1846-1924], and Edmund Henry Garrett [1853-1929] which were drawn and engraved under the supervision of James W. Lauderbach.
