This non-chronological commemorative scrapbook documenting Mao's life includes colour and black and white photographs of Chairman Mao, line illustrations, pen and ink paintings and photographs of sculptures of Mao, all clipped from newspapers or magazines and carefully laid down into this sturdy accounts book. Images date from 1925 to 1976. One full pull-out page from a pictorial magazine is interleaved. Most images include captions from the newspaper, short news article or in some cases handwritten captions. Pages and images are slightly browned, but well preserved, cover is slightly chipped at edges, overall in good condition. Circa 90pp, 21.2 x 19cm.
