The book is not ex lib. There is a neatly covered former owners bookplate on the front inner board. The volume was published in October 1930 and this copy is the f…irst reprint dated January 1931. There are 310 pages and two sketch maps at the rear. Internally the book is tightly bound and the front and rear hinges are solid . Internally is is generally clean and bright though with minor flaws as detailed below There is some foxing to the side edge block. Internally it is generally free of foxing apart from some on the rear sketch map and on the title and publication pages. There are some very minimal foxing on a few other pages but overall this is a tight generally clean copy. Externally the front board has some minor marking and the bottom of the spine has some weakness. The corners are slightly bumped.
