Apart from the ugly binding and some foxing at the end leaves: still a good uncut copy printed on good quality paper, with a stain…less interior and no foxing. Complete first year 1881 of this leading Belgian art nouveau periodical founded by Octave Maus and Edmond Picard. It was in fact this periodical which coined - in 1884 already - the name ''Art Nouveau ''. At the end of the year an extensive index was published ( bound in).
