Brochure rare sur le charlatanisme médical, visant plus particulièrement des médecins "pourvus d'un titre étranger conféré par des Facultés où l'instruction médicale est incomplète", qui "usurpent le titre de docteur" et qui pour la plupart font de la médecine une spéculation ou une industrie, se livrant "aux pratiques honteuses du chrlatanisme". Piechaud examine ensuite les moyens d'empêcher l'usurpation de titres et de réprimer le charlatanisme.
