Einband etwas berieben und bestossen, papierbedingt leicht gebräunt. - Es geht etwas völlig Neues von der Kunst Antonios aus, in der Anatomie und Perspektive miteinander im Einklang stellen. Es ist ein aufs Höchste verfeinerter Sinn für die Zeit, die vorüberfliegt, für kommende, zukünftige Bewegungen und Gesten. Durch, sein Werk weitet sich auf den Gemälden die Zeit. Es ist nicht mehr der ewige Gegenwartsaugenblick wie bei Masaccio, Andrea oder Paolo ; es ist vielmehr, als sei das Flussbett gegraben, in dem die Zeit dahinströmen wird. Die Bewegungen, die sie hervorbringt, können nun unbehindert einander folgen : auch die grossen bildnerischen Bewegungen der Zukunft. Jede Geste wird eine Geste höherer, Lebensmacht und Lebensfülle sein. Dieser Schritt, der dritte grosse nach Giotto und Masaccio, ist der entscheidende, welcher auf den Gipfelpunkt der Renaissance führt, zu Leonardo, Raffael, Michelangelo. Basado en la obra de Antonio del Pollaiolo (1433-1498),pintor, escultor, orfebre, esmaltador y grabador del Renacimiento y Quattrocentoitaliano.
