Delfina Potocka, née Komar (March 1807- April 2, 1877), a Polish countess, was a friend and muse to noted Polish expatriate artists Frédéric Chopin and Zygmunt Krasin'ski. Antique ex-library with bookplate from 1901. Rebound in library cloth with new sturdy hinges by library. No pocket. Tiny stamps at corners of illustrations. A few library marks. Corner of front board and spine has water stain; does not affect text, which is clean. A solid, sound book. Good condition.
