Fine copy of this uncommon work on Russian folk art, the best examples of which were gathered across Russia and presented at this exhibition just before the outbreak of WWI. Published thanks to the success of the event, this richly illustrated production was actually the only catalogue published for any of the handicraft exhibitions. It includes essays and photographic plates on various branches of folk art, such as weaving, gold-embroidery, furniture, carpets, toys, lace and jewellery.

Artistic Treasures of Russia featured reproductions of paintings, sculptures, architectural works, decorative and applied arts, and artistic crafts from the 18th and early 19th centuries, accompanied by detailed descriptions. Many articles, grounded in archival research, explored the art of the Peter the Great era. Certain thematic issues focused on the Armory Chamber, the monuments of Peterhof, Oranienbaum, and Tsarskoye Selo, the Stroganov Palace, and the Hermitage's gallery of treasures. The magazine also introduced readers to works from private collections that were largely unknown to the public. Each issue included an "Alphabetical Index of Names" and a "Subject Index of Illustrations," and concluded with a section chronicling cultural life.
