The Gilbert boo…kplate to the front of the book, and a letter, dated 1828 from the auther tipped in at the end. A very clean large uncut example, in a contemporary half calf binding, some wear to edges. There is an inoffensive water stain to the reverse of 3 of the folding plates,and a slight discolouration to the bottom blank margin.of one folding plate.
