Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 318 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth boards with lettering. Hinges and gutters are moderately cracked with exposed netting. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to title page and last page textblock. Front free endpaper is missing. Binding is slightly loose. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Lettering is bright and clear. Heavy splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Book has a slight forward lean. Visible wear marks to boards.

Book is in very good plus condition with very minor signs of wear and/or age. Pictorail DW (after a painting by Van Dyck) is priced 7/6 net on spine, DW spine has very slight enbd loss and is a bit browned. Dustwrapper/dustjacket is in very good minus condition with minor but noticeable signs of wear and/or age. In loose polythene protector.

Despite his dedication toward making his dream a reality, the village was a failure, starting when one of its members was murdered. Very Good, foxing to page edges, in nearly Very Good dustjacket, modest soiling and wear, small chip at top spine end.
