First edition 9x6 inch blue cloth boards gilt, a very rough hardbound casing: top and tail rims are frayed and torn as are both outer joints and corner-tips; spine & cover titling are badly dimmed; front hinge is torn although (oddly) is not weak; ffep bears an old ink ownership. Textblock is sound and firm, clean and free of any markings. A slightly better than "reading copy" whose photos are rather unexpectedly scene-setting.
