This is a Good Copy of this Book in Publisher's limp cloth boards in green with pictorial front cover with a pitched tent.Illustrated with over 60 drawings and with several maps.It's a comprehensive work on the various do's and don'ts whilst camping,chapters on Where to go and hoiw to start,camp routine,where to pitch,the requirements of the tent and cooking equipment.There is one former owner's neat inscription on the front pastedown dated 1921.The outer cloth is a little worn and creased and internally the contents are clean but the binding is weakening at several of the page gatherings.Overall graded 'Good' yet still an elusive title.8vo 158pp Undated But Circa 1920's.

8vo., First Edition, with frontispiece and numerous illustrations (a number full-page) in the text, endpapers and half-title browned, neat contemporary signature on frontispiece recto; original green pictorial cloth, upper board and backstrip elaborately lettered and blocked in gilt and colours, gilt edges, upper hinge tender (but binding wholly sound), a bright, clean copy. Vividly-written and entertaining account of five boys building a canoe (among other things) with much period practical detail in the manner of a manual. EXTREMELY SCARCE.

Original U.K. story of boys building a canoe and the efforts by the club. Book is near Fine minus, clean green cloth with bright gilt titles to spine and front board, very pronounced embossed illustrations on front board and spine, illustraion of the canoe under cover on front panel and crossed paddles on sppine, tight and square with sharp points, previous owner gift inscription on front pastedown, a few areas of very light edge wear, text is near Fine, a very solid First Edition and in collectable condition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Front., plates & illus. Orig. red-brown cloth, blocked in blind, lettered in gilt; a little dulled & rubbed. Not recorded in BL or on Copac; there is also apparently no record of The Pioneer itself. Includes: A chat about the Lancashire Folk; Essays for workmen; The glory of the man; The modern fair; &c. Reindorp went on to edit 'Hobbies for Boys' and 'Practical Camping for Boys'.
