Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition thus. Miniature size. approx 4" by 2". No date,date is estimated, but preface is dated 1807. Bound in decorated red cloth with attractive dec'd gilt and red spine. In good plus condition. No date but inscn to front dated 1857. Guaranteed condition.

Upper hinge and upper and lower joint slightly cracked, binding otherwise tight. Edges gilt, slight soiling to edges. Slight wear and slight soiling to spine, cover and corners. Half-Leather. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Boo has moderate foxing, wear to leather spine, green paper boards have bumped corners soiling and wear. Book.

Tissue covered frontis engraving of light house, engraving on title page of 'The Lover's Journey' both pages foxed. Brown boards, spine chipped at top & bottom, corners worn, owner name on half title page, internally clean with tight binding, good.

Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. A rare book, bargain-priced due to its poor condition. Leather binding. Front board and first few pages are detached, back board is attached, but barely, with cracked hinge. Spine is missing. Front leather board is stained. End pages plus first and last ~ 30 pages are foxed, intermittent foxing throughout interior pages. Former owner's signature on front-free end page. 330 pages, 7 1/2" x 4 1/4".

Half-Leather. Condition: With All Faults (W.A.F.). Dust Jacket Condition: No Dustjacket. First Edition. xxv + 256 pages. Half-leather. Green boards are both OFF/detached, 65% spine leather rubbed off from top, library number to bottom in gilt. Corner leather has gone, boards are much rubbed & bronzed. Library label pasted to inner front board, from reference library in 1880's, last lent 1920. Flyleaf torn vertically in half. Page-edges darkened with one blotch. Text has nicks out of two margins, every page has some blotching of finger-marks. A few with pencil lines to margins or a little underlining, overall not particularly clean. Book block binding feels sound. Needs repair.

Condition: Very Good Minus. 1st Edition. Half brown morocco leather binding with brown ribbed cloth boards. Gilt ruled compartments to spine. Decorative endpapers, red speckled page edges. Rubbing to spine and corners of boards. Small section of loss to head of spine. Good solid binding with no cracking to joints. Original card wraps have been discarded when binding. Numerous blank pages have been added at the end to pack out the binding. Foxing to some of the plates. Clean text throughout. Pages 7-32 have an area of damage to lower margin where an object has hit the lower page edge resulting in some tears and creasing. Contains a couple of illustrations in the text followed by 18 plates. Previous owner's pencilled name to front pastedown endpaper. Overall condition is Very Good Minus.
