Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - A solitary figure moves through the wild expanse of nineteenth century Australia, the hush of the bush broken only by the echo of his own footsteps. In the relentless isolation of the outback, a man once condemned struggles not just against the unforgiving land, but against the shadow of his past-a story of exile, endurance, and the faint, stubborn hope of redemption. Set amid the stark beauty and peril of colonial Australia, this narrative traces the journey of a convict whose punishment is not merely separation from society, but immersion in the vast, indifferent wilderness. The novel's portrayal of rural isolation and the profound solitude of bush life invites readers into the heart of a world where survival is a daily trial and moral transformation is both possible and fraught with uncertainty.Drawing deeply on the traditions of Australian literature, this work stands as a singular example of the australian convict story, blending the suspense of outback survival with a nuanced meditation on guilt, forgiveness, and the search for meaning. The landscape itself becomes a character-at once a punishing adversary and a crucible for the soul. Its pages offer not only a gripping australian bush narrative but also a rare glimpse into the social and spiritual fabric of colonial life, making it a touchstone for collectors and those passionate about australian historical novels. This book was out of print for decades and is now republished by Alpha Editions. It has been restored for today's and future generations. This edition is not just a reprint - it's a collector's item and a cultural treasure.
