Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. This is the original 1877 printing, NOT a modern reprint. Principal is leaf 183/184 is damaged. A long tear with some loss of text to the top half of the leaf. A photocopy of the damaged pages laid. The original green cloth shows wear along the edges. The pages are tight and clean with no marks. Previous owner's name stamp appearing on a number of early leaves. No odor. No water damage. No soiling.
