This later work of Christian Astrology written by vice-provost and language professor of Trinity College, Dublin, Rev. John Barrett, D. D., was an "extraordinary example of learned ingenuity," though in it, Barrett was "said to have been more happy in opposing the hypotheses of Macrobius, La Pluche, and La Nauze than in establishing his own." (Leslie Stephen - ed. Dictionary of National Biography, Vol III, pg 282). The book is scarce with the ESTC (T121764) showing four holdings in North America.
