f'cap 8vo, first edition, pp,xviii,156, gilt titled blind embossed brown cloth which has a little wear to the tail of spine, early neat signature and address to the title-page, early previous owner's label to the leading paste-down endpaper, age-toning to text, a decent copy.

Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. (Ref.GG6 ) Brown cloth with blind-stamped patterning. Rubbed and worn at edges, corners with amateur roughly cut replaced brown cloth spine. Photos on request. Split to lower right hinge at spine. Greyed top and foredge. Soiled endpapers with thumbing and soiling to page edges throughout. Hinge cracked at pp.134/135. Poor copy but complete and may suit for reference/reading purposes.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Hard back first edition in very good condition, red cloth gilt decorated board. Ex library copy, previous owners details on front free endpaper, Library book plate on front endpaper, and some library numbering on rear of dedication page and first page of text. (Book ref. 6800).

Cloth. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. In overall good condition for its age, this book of 1859 still has its original brown blind stamped cloth boards which have wear to the head and foot of spine with a small slit. Gilt title to spine. Internally there is a neat previous owner signature dated 1894. The binding is weak at dedication page and end, otherwise internally very good.
