    Unbound. Condition: Near Fine. Hand-colored aquatint on off-white wove paper. Sheet measures approximately 11.25" x 15"; Plate measures approximately 7" x 11". Two small pieces of tape to the top edge, light toning to the outside plate edges, near fine. A beautiful hand-colored print by Frederick Richards, published by *Glamor Paris* in 1955. Richards, a student of Thomas Eakins in Philadelphia, was a painter and illustrator best known for his Life magazine covers from the early 20th Century. A handsome, bright impression.

Original hand-painted print from The Royal Game of Golf with printed artist's signature to bottom left; publisher's circular blind stamp to bottom right corner, which indicates this an originally hand-painted print published 1901. Royal coat of arms of Queen Victoria, put into use in 1837, to top right corner. Print depicts a woman in a rose print dress with a floral bonnet and holding a gold club by a golf ball. Light spotting and toning throughout, as well as light foxing to subject's face (see image). Framed in silver coated wooden frame. Frame: 21 x 29.75; Window: 13 x 21.75 inches.
