Doch wir sind auf einen effektiven Schutz der inneren Sicherheit angewiesen. Wenn eine terroristische Kleingruppe wie die NSU nicht erfolgreich bekämpft werden kann, dann gilt das auch für vergleichbare Gruppen und Nachahmer. Winfried Ridder war lange 'Chefauswerter' für den Verfassungsschutz mit der Verantwortung für die Informationen von 'menschlichen Quellen', den V-Leuten. Seiner Ansicht nach können sie keine 'Vertrauensleute' sein, denn sie bleiben Anhänger ihrer Ideologie und dienen immer zwei Seiten.
