Hübsche Innenansicht mit Besuchern. - Die Riesenburg ist eine natürliche Karsthöhle (Versturzhöhle) mit mehreren Felsbögen mit einer Spannweite bis zu 11.5 Meternn bei Engelhardsberg, einem Ortsteil der oberfränkischen Gemeinde Wiesenttal im Landkreis Forchheim in Bayern. Die Gesamtlänge der Höhle beträgt 43 Meter bei einer Höhendifferenz von 25 Metern. Die Naturbrücken und Felsen sind Überreste eines eingestürzten Höhlendaches. Die Riesenburg, damals im Besitz des Grafen Schönborn, wurde schon Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts zu einem Ausflugsziel, das unter anderem König Ludwig I. besuchte. Seit 2007 gehört die Riesenburg offiziell zu den 100 bedeutendsten geologischen Naturwundern Bayerns.
