Condition: Good. Two volumes uncut and sewn in contemporary grey paper wrappers. Numbers stamped onto spines. The separate plate volume in similar wrappers with somewhat damaged spine. Slight foxing throughout, some dampstaining, a few unpleasant stains in the outer margin on the first unpaginated pages in volume I. These volumes is sewn in accordance with the directions to the bookbinder on the last page. The title page with the author's portrait after a medallion by Sergel is engraved by J. Gillberg. A German translation was published in 1808-09. Rinman started from a manuscript left by A. R. Bellander, which he revised completely and extended substantially.
