A routine trans-Atlantic crossing turns into a fight for survival on a raft in the open ocean as Murphy's Law takes over. First published in 1875. This edition also includes the short story 'Martin Paz' (1852), telling a Romeo and Juliet style romance set in Lima, Peru. Provenance; H.A.V. Bulleid, M.A. (1912-2009) writer, film-maker and cinema historian, and an amateur bibliographer of Jules Verne.
