Die vier Photographien (schwarz/weiss, mit weißem Rand) zeigen einen zur "Rixdorfer Backstube 1360" umdekorierten Lastwagen der Firma Bäcker-Einkau…f Neukölln (Britzer Damm 74). Die Aufnahmen liegen in zwei verschiedenen Größen vor: ca. 9,6 x 13,5 cm / ca. 12,7 x 13 cm. Die ersten zwei Aufnahmen zeigen den Wagen noch ohne Begleitung auf einem Hinterhof stehend, die anderen beiden zeigen ihn dann voll besetzt als Teil des Festumzugs durch die Neuköllner Hauptstraßen. Das Innere des Umzugswagens zeigt die Rekonstruktion einer historischen Backstube. Sehr wahrscheinlich handelte es sich hier um die Festivitäten zu 600 Jahren Rixdorf im Jahr 1960. Hier hatte sich scheinbar auch das Handwerk des einstigen Dorfes Rixdorf präsentiert. Die Photographien stammen aus dem Nachlaß des Berliner Gebrauchsgrafikers Werner Gruschke. Er hatte diese auf Karton montiert und in seinem Portfolio-Ordner abgelegt. Mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit war Gruschke zeitgenössisch an der Gestaltung des Festwagens und / oder an der Aufnahme der Photographien beteiligt. Historische Photographien aus der Rixdorfer und Berliner Stadtgeschichte aus dem Jahr 1960.

Nel 1877 si iscrive ai corsi di pittura presso la Scuola d'Arte di Berlino e nel 1884 all'Accademia della stessa città, dove ha come maestri Paul… Thumann, Otto Knille e Paul Meyerheim che lo introduce all'arte dell'incisione e dell'acquaforte. Nel 1893 diviene professore di Incisione presso l'Accademia di Dresda. Dopo alcuni mesi abbandona l'insegnamento per recarsi a Firenze dove incontra Max Klinger e dove tenta, nel 1895, di istituire una casa atelier per artisti tedeschi. Dopo il fallimento del progetto, che Klinger riuscirà a realizzare anni dopo, ritorna in Germania, a Berlino. Dopo alcuni lavori di scultura, tra cui il celebre Bogenschtze (L'Arciere, 1895) che viene collocato nel parco Schloss Sanssouci di Postdam, si stabilisce a Firenze. Allo scoppio della Grande Guerra torna in Germania e dal 1918 al 1926 è docente di Incisione presso l'Accademia di Berlino. Nel 1927 si trasferisce definitivamente a Firenze. Ernst Moritz Geyger nel 1877 si iscrive ai corsi di pittura presso la Scuola d'Arte di Berlino e nel 1884 all'Accademia della stessa città, dov…e ha come maestri Paul Thumann, Otto Knille e Paul Meyerheim che lo introduce all'arte dell'incisione e dell'acquaforte. Nel 1893 diviene professore di Incisione presso l'Accademia di Dresda. Dopo alcuni mesi abbandona l'insegnamento per recarsi a Firenze dove incontra Max Klinger e dove tenta, nel 1895, di istituire una casa atelier per artisti tedeschi. Dopo il fallimento del progetto, che Klinger riuscirà a realizzare anni dopo, ritorna in Germania, a Berlino. Dopo alcuni lavori di scultura, tra cui il celebre Bogenschtze (L'Arciere, 1895) che viene collocato nel parco Schloss Sanssouci di Postdam, si stabilisce a Firenze. Allo scoppio della Grande Guerra torna in Germania e dal 1918 al 1926 è docente di Incisione presso l'Accademia di Berlino. Nel 1927 si trasferisce definitivamente a Firenze. Tra le sue opere grafiche più importanti sono il ciclo grafico Darwinistische disputation (Disputazione darwinistica), e le acqueforti Ansicht von Montreux (Veduta di Montreux) e Bildnis von Helmholz (Ritratto di Helmholtz).
