Illustrated endpapers. Black satin bookmark. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with just a touch of creasing to the bottom corner of the closed text block, are otherwise clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the fine original dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£50/$100 to the lower rear panel). Housed in the structurally sound slipcase, which has minor surface loss to the cloth at the left side extremities and a couple of light marks to the bottom edge. Issued in an edition of 200 copies, from which this example is numbered 43, and signed by the author Christopher Evans and the author of the introduction Robert Holdstock in black ink on the limitation page. A science fiction thriller, portraying a displaced protagonist, who is transported into the body of his doppelganger in an alternate reality where World War Two never ended.
