THE COVER'S QUITE INTERESTING AND THE CHAP AT THE DESK BEARS A RESEMBLANCE TO ROY FULLER; PERHAPS HE SAT FOR IT. FULLER WAS, OF COURSE, A PROFESSOR OF POETRY AT OXFORD UNIVERSITY, SO ONE COULDN'T POSSIBLY DOUBT HIS ABILITY TO WRITE. BUT, STILL, I JUST CAN'T BRING MYSELF TO SIT DOWN AND INVEST THE TIME IN READING IT. SO I SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO ANYYONE WHO WOULD TAKE IT OFF MY HANDS AND LET ME KNOW IF IT'S ANY GOOD. Original vintage London Transport poster for Ham House by the British artist Robert Flavell Micklewright (1923-2013) featuring the historical 17th century Stuart house located by the River Thames with a manicured grass lawn and flowers in the foreground, the London Underground roundel logo and text below - Ham House near Richmond was built in 1610. Later the home of the Duke of Lauderdale, even amid the Restoration's luxury and prodigality it was one of the most lavish and talked-of houses in the country.
