Goldschmit (1854-1923) war Gymnasialprofessor in Karlsruhe und 20 Jahre lang Mitglied des Stadtrats. Er verfasste das heute noch gültige Standardwerk zur Geschichte Karlsruhes und baute das dortige Stadtarchiv auf. - Papier gleichmäßig gebräunt.
