Single performance featuring John Cage as music director, Robert Rauschenberg as resident designer and stage manager, composer and musician David Tudor. This event occurred in the shadow of the allegedly rigged winning of Biennale s grand prize by Robert Rauschenberg, apparently a heavy mix of soft and hard power politics on the part of the US. The company performed accompanied by compositions by John Cage, Toshi Ichiyanagi and Morton Feldman. Full details printed recto. Extremely rare piece - even more than the oblong letterpress publicity poster. // folded twice, small tear along left extremity of fold line.
