Twenty pages with closely written notes, partly in the form of tables, bound at the beginning and at the end of the volume. Signature Alfred Hjelmérus dated Lund 1888, Bookplate of I. The woodcuts show runic inscriptions and are cut by the vicar Wirgander. The many notes added to this copy concern the Swedish province of Småland and are written at the time of publishing or closely thereafter. Müntzing's bookplate, made by the renowned Swedish artist Albert Engström, shows a hunting scene in the Stockholm archipelago with wild ducks flying at sunset. In the foreground is a hunter with a gun.

Board paper somewhat worn, two corners slightly bumped. Traces of old auction ticket on front pastedown. Occasional spotting. Title and last page with browned corners. Title slightly creased at top, some minor ruststains, chipping and holes. Signature of Edvard Taube on front flyleaf, owner's stamp of Ernst Hjertberg, stamp of Göteborgs realläroverk and gift stamp of J. G. Holmstedt on title.
