Softcover. Condition: Gut bis sehr gut. Die deutschen Kolonialbahnen in den Kolonien des Deutschen Kaiserreiches entstanden vom Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts bis zum Sommer des Jahres 1914. In den deutschen Kolonien entstanden Bahnstrecken mit einer Gesamtlänge von 4.179 Kilometern. Dies entsprach etwa 7,5 Prozent des Schienennetzes innerhalb des damaligen Deutschen Reiches. Der vorliegende Band "Grundlagen und Gesichtspunkte für eine koloniale Eisenbahnpolitik in Afrika" (1907) wurde nach der gleichnamigen amtlichen Denkschrift vom Kolonialpolitischen Aktionskomitee herausgegeben. Es werden u.a. die Eisenbahnen von Marokko, Senegal, Liberia, Togo, Kamerun, Deutsch-Südwestafrika (heute Namibia) und Deutsch-Ostafrika (heute Tansania) beschrieben. Illustriert mit Kartenabbildungen. Nachdruck der Originalausgabe aus dem Jahre 1907.
