Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Stiff black wrappers printed in gold, 4to., xiii, 175, (1) pages, profusely illustrated including 16 in color. Spine chipped and front cover neatly detached, else a clean, very good copy in archival mylar.

Quarto in boldly illustrated stiff wrappers (also published in hardcover). iv (adverts), vtt +182 pp. Illustrated throughout with woodcuts , some in two-color, and featuring 8 tipped on full color plates. Wrappers are badly chipped and half lacking at the spine, shallow edge chipping top edges of both covers. There is an acetate dust wrapper, also with chipping and splitting, which may or may not have originally been issued with the book. Survey of woodcut illustration of the 1920s from around the world. The illsutrations are, as one would expect, very striking.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Paperback. 1927. Presenting a mix of 1920's styles.182pp. Numerous illus., many full-page, including eight tipped-in colour plates and two-coloured examples. Wear to spine with chipping to ends (4cm part-width missing at foot of spine) and short closed tear to edge of lower wrapper. Wraps have minor chipping, creasing and soiling, but generally of attractive appearance. Paper slightly toned and just occasional marks internally. A sound reference copy of an unusual art publication.

Gray cloth hardcover with bright gilt stamping to front cover and spine, rubbing to head of spine, else minor wear, clean, spine not faded, tightly bound, former owner's name Alice D. Laughlin, dated 1927, artist/illustrator. vii +182 pp. & includes a List of Illustration in Color / List of Illustrations in Two-colors & in Monotone Illustrated throughout with woodcuts, some in two-color, and featuring 8 tipped on full color plates. Over 80 book illustrators are represented including John Austen, Aubrey Beardsley, Max Beerbohm, Thomas Bewick, "Phiz", Walter Crane, George Cruikshank, Edmund Dulac, Kate Greenaway, Arthur Rackham, and Thomas Rowlandson.

Condition: Poor. No dustjacket. Scuffs/some staining to cover. Crack to front hinge. Foxing to textblock edges & considerable foxing to several pages. Tanning to pages & some tearing at edges. Except for pages with considerable foxing, content good.

Condition: Good. No jacket. Boards are very lightly edgeworn with a minor bump to the top corner. Textblock edge foxed with very light foxing to pages. Tanned endpapers. Text/images in generally good condition.
