Association / Signed: Inscribed by Dodson to poet Carolyn Forché on the half-title: "To Carolyn Forché, with deep admiration & affection - Sam Dodson." Laid in is a one-page ALS on Tarleton State University Department of English and Languages letterhead dated 8 Nov 2007, thanking Forché and noting he has taught/presented "The Angel of History" to his students for years. Condition: Very Good. Light handling and toning to wrappers; a faint small spot to front cover; mild corner softness; contents clean; staples firm. No owner markings beyond the author's inscription. (Photos of inscription and ALS included.) Notes: The inaugural title in Tarleton's Dean's List Series. A desirable association copy linking Dodson's chapbook to Carolyn Forché, whose work the author acknowledges and teaches in the laid-in letter. Light deal pencil notations on flyleaf, easily erasable.
