Publisher's original front and rear wrappers retained and bound in. The binding is in fine condition, square and firm. The contents, with a little toning to the edge…s of the paper stock and wear to the edges of the front and rear wrappers, are otherwise clean throughout. Inscribed by the author in black ink on the half title "For P. Saugman / from Graham Greene / Copenhagen. Sept '50". The basis for the 1944 film of the same name starring Ray Milland and Marjorie Reynolds.
