The vellum is soiled and darkened with age. An unusual binding. The contents are firmly bound inside. Previous owner's bookplate to the first pastedown - Canon Raymond Samuel Foster, The College of Saint John The Evangelist, along with a further owner's signature. The text is very good throughout, with uncut edges as issued. Some light age spotting, particularly to titles and first few pages, but a very clean reading text overall. Text in German and Hebrew. 3 title pages - x foreword for Vol 1 and iii-vi foreword for Vol. 2, followed by 447pp. Then, reading from rear of book; the Lexicon of Abbreviations; Title + 1pp +129pp + 1pp. Dimensions: Approx 260mm high x 185mm wide x 36mm deep.
